Feedback and Complaints

When things don’t work out the way you wanted:

We work hard to make sure we give the best service possible – but sometimes we make mistakes. We forget things, misunderstand things or just plain don’t think of things.

We really want to know when we have not provided a service that has met your needs – and we can’t fix things if we don’t know about it – so PLEASE let us know.

Remember – we really want to provide a great service – and we can’t do that if we don’t know where we are going wrong. We have a philosophy of No Blame. This means we are really interested in fixing things – not in finding someone to blame. We have a team of workers who really love their jobs – and want to know where they can improve. Your supports will not be impacted negativley if you raise a concern about the services you are receiving from us.

There are a number of ways you can let us know – you can request for your Lifestyle Facilitator to ask a member of the centre team to make contact with you. You can give us a call on the phone, you can pop in to see us and speak with whoever your feel most comfortable.

If you are still not satisfied with the response you have received we encourage you to speak to Sue Collier, our CEO or our Board President, Ian Shepherdson if you haven’t already.

If you remain unhappy, the Department of Communities, Disability Services staff are also able to support you if you have an concerns, but we would appreciate the opportunity to work the issue through with you first.

We also like to hear about the good things – when you are really happy with the service you have received – or you want to give us some feedback – feel free to call us  – or leave a message on the connections below! We love hearing these things!! 🙂
